Using words from Phase 2 Phonics, I have created, 20 comprehension cards. Each card has one simple sentence and then 2 questions to answer. Child can read the sentence and then adult can read the question to them and the child can write their answers below. These could printed off and used as a quick group activity or laminated and used during child initiated time.

I’ve created 32 distinct cards, divided across 4 pages with 8 cards on each. Each card features 4 pictures – 3 that share a common theme and 1 that stands out. These versatile cards can serve as worksheets for individual identification and circling of the odd one, or they can be cut and laminated for group discussions. Whether used in small group activities or one-on-one sessions, these cards encourage children to express their thoughts on why they believe a particular image is the odd one out.

A bingo game for up to 6 players, with counters included. This bingo game is ideal for teaching the, ‘S’ sound in phonics or as a fun game in speech and language, for children who have difficulty in producing the, S sound. Included are, 6 boards, 15 pictures with the initial, S sound and 28 counters. Of course the counters can be printed several times to ensure all players have enough pieces.
